Camel Racing
Shot in the early hours of the 1st January in Dubai, UAE, camel racing takes place early while the air is still cool. It is serious business in the Middle East. On the whole, wealthy folks own the camels who participate in the races but they are looked after and trained by people from a more modest background.
This project set out to see the event from both perspectives, and try and encapsulate the relationship between the camels and the handlers whilst giving an idea as a whole of the world of camel racing.
